How it works

SCHENGEN WORK PERMIT PROCESS FOR NON AND SCHENGEN RESIDENTS

The Schengen employer shall use the reference number he received from the employer in the government online application system for approval procedures. In confirmation of the work visa application a 10-digit application number obtained from the office shall be delivered to the employer. The employer shall complete all information and upload necessary documents. The employer shall check the accuracy of the information required for the application as wrong or imperfect information may cause delays in the process.

Upon completion of the initial application submission, print out of the documents should be signed by both the employer and the employee. Unless either of the parties are able to sign, the wet signed labor contract should be added in the application file.

10 – 15 days after the work permit is approved, the foreigner should go to the foreign representative office to collect the work visa issued and pay the consular fee. The application form and other documents must be delivered to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security within at most 10 days. Otherwise, the entire process must be repeated.
